This is a hand-drawn print of the City of Manchester Stadium – home of Manchester City FC.
The City of Manchester Stadium, currently known as the Etihad Stadium due to sponsorship, is the tenth largest football stadium in the UK and has a domestic football capacity of 55,017.
The stadium was originally built to host the 2002 Commonwealth Games and has since played host to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final, England football internationals, rugby league matches, a boxing world title fight and much more.
The venue was converted after the 2002 Commonwealth Games from a 38,000 capacity arena to a 48,000 seat football stadium and cost the city council £22 million and Manchester City £20 million. Manchester moved there from Maine Road in the summer of 2003.
