These striking necklaces are made by OHC Maker Indigo Plum Creations. They are made from metal rings “woven” together using the same techniques as Knights’ chain mail of old. Today though these rings are made of aluminium and despite their look the jewellery is unbelievably light. Each ring is opened, carefully placed with the others in the piece according to the particular weave, and then closed again.
The aluminium rings making up the main body of the necklace are aluminium and do not contain nickel. The fasteners are normal silver plated fasteners.
The Rondo necklaces are approx 43 cm long, and the Pretty Parallel approx 54 cm.
Each one is gift boxed.
